RULES OF SUNDAY NIGHT MFL

1. Each team owner must have a cell phone and access to the web. Daily communication with your fellow members is very important. You will be responsible for contacting your opponent and scheduling your own matches. Once the league is started advance time will be every 48 hours at 12:00 am Central. (Please be a proactive owner and "add" your next opponent on your PS3 ahead of time besides using the other methods of contact)
2. FREE AGENTS - Do not overload your team with free agents but you can take what ever you need. If you need more than 3 free agents you must get approval from the commissioner.
3. TRADES - It is your team feel free to trade anybody you want. If anyone helps a friend with an unfair trade or an unrealistic trade they will be booted from the league immediately. I understand sometimes you have to spend big to get big players but if the trade is over exaggerated the trade will be reversed & the commissioner will take action.
4. NO CHEATING - There will be no nano blitzing, and any known glitch using of any kind.
Please do not underestimate the knowledge of your opponent these cheats & glitches are posted everywhere on the internet. If you feel your opponent has nano'ed or used a glitch against you during the game please go to highlights after the game and save the highlight so you can upload it to show your proof. (plus many people are recording their franchise games now to show off on youtube, so please keep it clean guys!) Nano users will be booted immediately.
Someone cheat? Really? I need proof... please notify me and send the videos or pics to my cell phone or email address.
5. 4th Down Rule - You can go for 4th & 2 or less if it's a tied ball game or your losing at anytime. You must punt the ball on 4th down if you are winning period. If you are losing by 15 points or more you can go for it at any time and anywhere on the field. In the 4th quater you can go for it at any time if you are losing by any amount.
4TH DOWN RULE IN OVERTIME - You are allowed to go for fourth down in overtime. You can do this at anytime and anywhere on the field.
6. Onside Kicks - No onside kicks if it's a tied ball game or your winning. If you are losing during the game you can do a regular onside kick at anytime. Do not trick your opponent into thinking your doing an onside kick and pressing the kick button as fast as you can to get off a squib kick. If your opponent acknowledges that you are in a normal kickoff they should have at least 3-4 seconds to audible. This is not a lobby league, please do not play like a lobby player or you will be booted.
7. You must have at least 2 guys rushing the QB... Keep it as realistic as possible. No team in the NFL puts their whole team in coverage. Do not attempt putting your whole team in coverage period!
8. No huddle - No huddle offense is allowed in Sunday Night MFL when you are tied or losing by any amount. If you are winning you are only allowed to run 2 plays in a row. If you have the ball and there's less than 2 minutes left in the 2nd quarter you can do constant no-huddle before halftime also regardless if you are winning, losing or tied. Please have proof of video if your opponent breaks this rule and they will be booted.
9. Positions - You can orchestrate your team however you think they may win. Example: DE's can be LB's and LB's can be DE's.
10. Quitting - NO QUITTING EVER. IF THERE IS A DISCONNECTION AND YOU ARE WINNING : YOUR OPPONENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPLACING YOUR POINTS BACK TO WHERE THEY WERE BEFORE YOU WERE DISCONNECTED, AND YOU WILL PUT BACK HIS AND RESUME FROM WHERE YOU LEFT OFF. IF YOUR OPPONENT DOES NOT WANT TO GIVE YOUR POINTS BACK HE WILL BE BOOTED SO INFORM THE LEAGUE COMMISSIONER. (or you both can have good sportsmanship and be men and just start over)
11. Unable to play an upcoming game? Please let the commissioner & your opponent know immediately. Then you must put the ”auto-pilot” setting on so your opponent can play the computer while you are away. If a member misses games constantly & on a regular basis they will be eventually be booted from the league.
12. Anybody constantly being reported as disrespectful, and inactive will be eventually booted. We are all here to be competitive, make new friends, and just have a great time playing football. Be respectful at all times during the game, lobby room, chat room, texts, and on the phone. Plus growing a great friendship amongst your peers is very important and smart for future scheduling of games, trades, and seasons to come. Good luck!
